our leashes are individually hand made. we cut each piece from a single piece of Italian buttero leather and hand press each stud into place. we work with a family owned leather production shop that's been around for over thirty years. we do not mass produce these so each piece is truly one of a kind.
The studs are pressed in so evenly, they catch the light when we walk—you can tell a human hand did this, not a machine. It’s already softening up after a week of daily use, and my pup doesn’t pull against it at all.
The leather feels incredibly smooth and substantial right out of the box, and you can tell each stud was set by hand just by the way it catches the light. I've had mine for a few weeks now, and it's already developing a nice patina that makes it look even better than when it arrived.
