our leashes are individually hand made. we cut each piece from a single piece of Italian buttero leather and hand press each stud into place. we work with a family owned leather production shop that's been around for over thirty years. we do not mass produce these so each piece is truly one of a kind.
Took this leash out for a long walk and the hand-pressed studs stayed perfectly in place the whole time — no wobbling or shifting. You can tell it's made from real Italian buttero leather because it's already developing that nice, subtle patina after just a week.
