our collars are individually hand made. we cut each piece from a single piece of Italian buttero leather and hand press each stud into place. we work with a family owned leather production shop that's been around for over thirty years. we do not mass produce these so each piece is truly one of a kind.
The peony shade is even prettier in person, and you can tell each stud was set by hand—the leather feels substantial but not stiff. I love that it's cut from one single piece of Italian buttero, so there's no seam to worry about wearing down.
